On March 18, 2025, the China–Italy Economic and Trade Forum and the Promotion Conference for the Third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) were successfully held in Milan, Italy. The event was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF), with the Italian Foreign Trade Association (AICE) as a co-organizer. Over 200 representatives from Chinese and Italian trade and investment promotion agencies, business associations, and enterprises attended the event. Keynote speeches were delivered by CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbin, ICCF President Mario Boselli, AICE Secretary-General Doninotti, and Chinese Consul General in Milan Liu Kan. During the event, multiple cooperation agreements were signed between Chinese and Italian institutions and enterprises. 

 

The ” Italy Milan Fashion & Design Association” (IMFD), as a prominent representative of Italy’s fashion and design sector, was invited to participate in the forum. IMFD is dedicated to fostering deep collaboration between China and Italy in fashion, design, and cultural and creative industries. The association actively builds platforms for communication between Chinese and Italian enterprises, promoting the integration and development of bilateral industrial and supply chains.

 

This forum provided new opportunities for China and Italy to collaborate in upgrading traditional industries, exploring emerging fields, and enhancing multilateral trade cooperation. IMFD will continue to leverage its strengths to deepen cooperation with relevant Chinese institutions and contribute to the sustained development of China–Italy economic and trade relations.
